Auto Keyboard Presser for Windows — Free

An auto keyboard presser that does one thing reliably: repeatedly presses or holds any key at the interval you set, toggled by a global hotkey. Pick your key, dial the speed, walk away.

What It Does

Auto Key Presser Pro sends repeated keyboard presses to Windows — the same signal a physical key would send. Use it to keep your character walking in an idle game, tap a harvest button every few seconds in an incremental title, stay awake during a long download, or loop through the same data-entry fields in a test suite. If your finger would otherwise sit on one key for an hour, this tool takes over.

The app runs on Windows. Download the ZIP and run the standard Windows installer; Windows may ask for your permission once.

One global hotkey (F6 by default, rebindable to F1–F12) starts and stops the pressing from any window: your desktop, a full-screen game, a remote desktop session, even a minimized window. The hotkey always works.

Common Scenarios

**Idle games:** Set the key to your harvest or collect button, interval to 2–5 seconds. The app taps while you do something else.

**Keeping PC awake:** Some systems sleep during slow uploads or downloads. Set a low-traffic key (like Space or End) to 30–60 seconds. The input keeps Windows from sleeping.

**Remote desktop sessions:** The app uses SendInput plus hardware scan codes, so presses land reliably in RDP windows where older automation tools fail silently.

**Anti-idle in online games:** Check your game's terms first. Many single-player or casual titles allow input automation; others forbid it. The app makes no attempt to hide — use it responsibly.

**Test automation loops:** Tap through UI forms repeatedly with a quick setup. Dial the interval to match your app's response time.

How to Set It Up

  1. Click **Set Key** Press the keyboard key you want repeated. Any letter, digit, Space, Enter, arrow, function key, or number pad key works.
  2. Enter the interval Type milliseconds (5 ms to 10 minutes). 100 ms = 10 presses per second; 1000 ms = once per second; 60000 ms = once per minute.
  3. Choose Tap or Hold **Tap** fires quick separate presses. **Hold key down** keeps the key pressed continuously, as if physically stuck.
  4. Start pressing Click **Start** or press F6 from anywhere. The session counter shows how many presses have fired. Press F6 again to stop.

Fine Tuning

**Randomize ±:** Tick this box and enter a jitter window (e.g., ±10 ms) to add a small random offset to each press. Breaks up a robotic rhythm if you need it.

**Rebind the hotkey:** Default is F6, but you can choose any F1–F12. Useful if another app claims F6, or if you want the toggle key near your other binds.

**Session counter:** Shows total presses since you last hit Start. Stop at a round number without guessing.
